2015 State Tribal Relations Day

The Sicangu Lakota Warriors participated in the 2015 State Tribal Relations Day by posting the Eagle Feather Staff, Tribal Flag, Sicangu Lakota Warrior Flag and American Flag in the Capital Rotunda. Vietnam veterans Bill Menard, Nick Leading Fighter, Denny Prue and Anthony Castaway are all members of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. Students from the Tiospa Zina Tribal School and the Enemy Swim Day School of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate offered the Lakota Flag Song as well as a Vietnam Veteran's Song.

Richard "Tuffy" Lunderman represented the Rosebud Sioux Tribe at the 2015 State Tribal Relations Day. He offered opening remarks on behalf of the Tribal Council. Tuffy is the Rosebud Sioux Tribal Council Representative from the Rosebud Community.

Crow Creek Tribal Chairwoman Roxanne Sazue offered opening remarks at the Capital Rotunda on State Tribal Relations Day.
